Job summary

Allied Universal in Newport, KY is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to perform access verification patrols and deter security incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor entrances and common areas, and document activity with a tablet or computer while maintaining clear communication with site staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements list customer service experience as a plus.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet for reporting and documentation.
• Must meet age requirements and pass background/drug screening where applicable.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants per site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document actions per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the location including entrances and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report concerns to site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with staff and leadership.
