Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required by law
• Drug screen as a condition of employment
• Licensing requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
