• Communicate professionally with government personnel, visitors, and emergency responders.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain logs and incident reports in accordance with site policies.
• Communicate professionally with government personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while following applicable post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
