Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Washington, DC. You will provide security for a commercial real estate location, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and respond professionally to security concerns. The role offers a flexible schedule and emphasizes excellent customer service to tenants and guests.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years of security experience, a valid license, and a HS diploma. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

At least two years of security-related experience.
Possess a law enforcement officer license.
State/municipal Security Professional license preferred.
Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors per site procedures and emergency responses.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access and verify visitor/vendor authorization per site procedures; maintain professional interactions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications; report maintenance concerns to supervision.
