Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Checkpoint Monitor. You will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security concerns while providing professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The role offers weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with set hours and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical-related emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel.
