Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner using a healthcare-appropriate approach.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Document incidents and patrol activity and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
