Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed) to work in Cleveland, OH in a hospital setting. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, assist patients and staff, and provide excellent service while upholding our culture of integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to support a safe, welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing patients, visitors, and staff in accordance with site-specific visitor management procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
