Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious circumstances.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel per site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence.
