Allied Universal in West Columbia, SC is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to protect clients across diverse industries. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs while following policies.

This position offers schedule flexibility via the Claim a Shift platform. Requirements include at least one year of security experience, being 18 or older, a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing background and drug screenings.

Competenze

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by policy.
• Drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply, depending on state/regulation.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; maintain records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, solution-focused manner and document actions taken.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance needs, and policy violations to site management.
