Job summary

Allied Universal in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to protect client sites across technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide courteous, professional service to clients.

The role offers flexible day and night shifts, a driver license requirement, and opportunities for training and growth. A background check and drug screening are standard, and CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by executing security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and reporting to leadership.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain logs in accordance with site procedures.
