Job summary

Allied Universal in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for site response to provide dependable, flexible hours at a manufacturing/industrial location. You will safeguard people and assets while delivering customer service and following site procedures.

The role offers anchor shifts, opportunities to pick up additional shifts, and a path toward full-time hours as needed. A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet; flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or drivers while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols across production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site-specific emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to leadership.
