Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Compton, CA. This role offers reliable, fixed hours with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, controlling visitor and contractor entry, and following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining awareness of hazardous industrial environments and following required protective equipment procedures.
