Allied Universal® in Herndon, VA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to patrol and monitor a commercial real estate site, maintain access control, and deliver outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks per law; drug screen where permitted; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and maintain logs.
