Job summary

Allied Universal in Bristol, PA is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Patrol). You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and provide customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work at a dynamic location. Pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Applicants must meet experience requirements and may be subject to background checks and a drug screen as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2+ years in security supervision/management, or 3+ years in security-related roles.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and promptly report maintenance, hazardous conditions, and security concerns.
