Job summary

Allied Universal in Springfield, TN is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) to provide courteous customer service and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and support badge and visitor processes, maintaining a professional presence.

The position offers weekend daytime shifts with a pay rate of $18.93 per hour, a flexible schedule, and opportunities to grow within a collaborative, community-focused team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check per laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs/reports.
• Observe hazards, property damage, and policy violations, and communicate concerns to site contacts and leadership.
