Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer for Bridgewater, VA. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor areas, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage location and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Guard Card/License preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Driver's license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts or responders
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs and communicate security-related information to leadership and site management
