Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Part Time - Unarmed Security Officer in Blythewood, SC. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing site while upholding site procedures and safety rules.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, driving capability, and adherence to a strong code of integrity within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Two years of security-related experience required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.
18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and escalation procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
