Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in York, PA. You will provide customer service while patrolling a logistics and distribution site, ensuring access control, monitoring entry points, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate with site management.
