Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time - Unarmed Security Officer in Graniteville, SC. You will monitor a facility, conduct patrols, and maintain visible security to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include access control, reporting incidents, and responding to alarms. At least 2 years of security experience and a high school diploma are required; a driver’s license is necessary for driving locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/employee/contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and escalate as needed.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate incidents to leadership.
