Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Boston, MA. You will patrol residential and commercial areas, provide courteous customer service, and deter security incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and document actions.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior to management.
• Maintain daily activity and incident reports and communicate with site management and responders as needed.
