Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Winthrop, MA. You will provide customer service to residents and staff, perform routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to deter security risks while maintaining a visible presence.

Minimum requirements include being 18+ for unarmed roles, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening where legal.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeters; report hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; document observations and notify personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, patrols, and security activities.
