Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Chicago, IL to serve and safeguard clients in healthcare locations. You will monitor access, patrol assigned areas, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
