Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Sterling, VA. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide customer service while maintaining a visible security presence at an aerospace/defense location.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, active DoD Secret Clearance, and high school diploma or equivalent. Employment includes a background check and potential driving duties where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ages: 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and following site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and coordinate with responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.
