Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Guard in Charlotte, NC. You will patrol commercial property areas, monitor entrances, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

You will work Sat-Sun nights, with a schedule that supports flexibility. Prior security experience and the ability to pass background checks are required or preferred; CPR and licensing are advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Background checks and drug screen required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting maintenance concerns and violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
