Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Marrero, LA to protect clients across Retail/Malls and similar settings. You will drive on patrol routes, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license as per Allied Universal policy.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check in line with federal/state/local laws.
Drug screen required as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by location.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
Respond to incidents calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious behavior, access issues, or hazards and report observations to site leadership.
Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation with professional communication.
