Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for an unarmed patrol driving role in Mount Morris, MI. The position requires a valid driver’s license and offers a schedule on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

The role emphasizes customer service, security procedures, and professional communication to deter incidents and maintain a welcoming environment across a technology, media, and telecom site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
