Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site procedures, and assist with directions.
Document incidents and patrols accurately and promptly following reporting procedures.
