Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Smithfield, NC. You will provide exceptional service, patrol the facility, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible, reassuring presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at an industrial lumber location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, lumber storage areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries and departures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, and complete required reports.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged fencing, unsecured doors, and suspicious activity to site management.
