Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Holly Springs, NC to patrol a plasma collection site, maintain a visible presence, assist patients and staff, and respond to incidents with professional conduct.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, 18+ years old for unarmed positions, a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with daytime and weekend shifts available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the plasma collection location, including interior areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for donors, staff, and visitors.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
