Job summary

Allied Universal in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor and safeguard tenants and visitors, using a computer or tablet to document activities.

You will respond to incidents, conduct patrols of commercial buildings and parking areas, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to site policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screen.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and provide directions or assistance to occupants and guests.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
