Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD. This part-time role involves patrolling manufacturing and industrial sites, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid is preferred and prior security or customer service experience is a plus. Salary is paid hourly with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driving positions require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, report unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents per Allied Universal and site requirements.
