Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Guard Part Time TWIC Patrol Driver in Orange, TX. This role offers morning shifts on Fridays and Saturdays, with a positive, community-focused work environment.

You will perform unarmed patrols, manage access control, and provide customer service at a government location while upholding Allied Universal's values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of activity throughout assigned areas.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and interactions in accordance with site procedures.
