Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public while following site procedures and emergency protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned areas, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and report issues to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports and logs per site requirements.

Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol Driver in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
