Tutors and instructs students and community members who needlearning assistance in assigned discipline(s) and study skills. Primary responsibilities include providing tutoring and relatedservices, and providing and atmosphere that is conducive to andencourages learning. Responsible for the general areas of studentacademic support, institutional service, and professionaldevelopment.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably todo the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; ordriving an automobile. No special physical demands are required toperform the work.
Hourly Pay Rate is $15.60
