Qualifications

• Certification of Domestic Violence Treatment Provider through DPBH in NV is mandatory.
• Knowledge and experience in trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.
• Cultural competency.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to follow group schedule to meet clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group sessions with perpetrators of domestic violence.
• Learn and utilize trauma-informed therapeutic methods.
• Document case notes in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Write progress reports for the courts and CPS.
• Collaborate with SafeNest partners to support counseling needs and client case management.
• Certification to provide Domestic Violence counseling in the State of Nevada is mandatory.
