Kids for the Future in Salem, Oregon is seeking a part-time tire technician to join our team. The role is Tue and Thu from 9am to 2pm, up to 29 hours weekly, with pay starting at $18.00 per hour and potential for additional shifts based on business needs.
You will perform tire painting, support the transportation and retread departments, and learn multiple processes while maintaining strict safety standards, physical dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
This position is part-time, Tuesday & Thursdays from 9am to 2pm (minimum), up to 29 hours per week depending upon the business' need.
We are located inside the Fairview Industrial Park @ 4230 27th Court SE, Salem, Oregon 97302.
All roles begin at $18.00 per hour.
We are looking for safety and process focused, down to earth individuals. Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, to learn new processes, and learn each of the processes to flexibly work in all stations.
Ability to lift 75-lbs, strong physical dexterity, mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, ability to operate hand, power, and air compression/hydraulic tools, successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Employees are regularly required to lift 75-lbs, stand, walk, use of both hands, arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as required. Employees are regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, vibrations, working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles, possible exposure risk to electrical shock, elevated noise and sounds within the working environment.
