Job summary

Kids for the Future in Salem, Oregon is seeking a part-time tire technician to join our team. The role is Tue and Thu from 9am to 2pm, up to 29 hours weekly, with pay starting at $18.00 per hour and potential for additional shifts based on business needs.

You will perform tire painting, support the transportation and retread departments, and learn multiple processes while maintaining strict safety standards, physical dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and operate hand, power, and hydraulic tools.
• Safety-focused with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Paint tires.
• Support the transportation and retread departments.
• Utilize tire painting machinery.
• Identify tires by tag.
• Sort tires by type, brand, style, and other factors.
• Stack tires and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards.
