Job summary

Spring Arbor is seeking a part-time Transportation Driver who can safely shuttle residents to appointments, run errands, and outings on a set schedule. You’ll help residents in and out of the shuttle, including wheelchair lifts, and stay attentive to warmth, respect, and confidentiality.

You’ll also keep the shuttle road-ready by fueling, cleaning, and tracking mileage, checking safety equipment, and communicating any vehicle issues to the Maintenance Director.

A Day Behind the Wheel

Taking Care of Residents

• Drive residents to appointments, errands, and outings on a set schedule
• Help them in and out of the shuttle (wheelchair lift included!)
• Walk them inside and wait with them for family when needed
• Treat every rider with warmth, respect, and confidentiality

Keeping the Shuttle Road-Ready

• Fuel up, clean up, and track mileage
• Check that safety and emergency equipment is good to go
• Give the Maintenance Director a heads-up on any vehicle issues

Staying on Track

• Sign residents in and out of the building
• Keep transportation logs neat and accurate
• Join team meetings and trainings, and help show new hires the ropes
