Job summary

The Bristal is seeking a part-time driver to transport residents to activities and events, ensuring safety and comfort on every trip. You will greet residents warmly, assist with boarding and alighting, and perform light errands as directed by the Lifestyle Director.

Fridays and Saturdays 9:30am-5:30pm with a focus on safe driving, vehicle upkeep, and professional conduct. High school diploma or better required along with a clean driving record and strong customer service skills.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Commitment to resident safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities’ transportation.
• Assist Residents onto and off of the bus.
• Greet Residents in a courteous and pleasant manner.
• Drive vehicle abiding by all local and state laws.
• Report vehicle malfunctions to the Lifestyle Director.
• Complete incident reports for Resident accidents.
• Ensure the vehicle is cleaned after each trip.
• Perform errands as assigned by leadership.
• Assist in dining room as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lifestyle Director, Executive Director/General Manager or Manager on duty.

• Drive responsibly, without weaving, tail gating, excessive lane changing, and all other irresponsible actions.
• Coordinates proper maintenance and cleaning schedule of the company vehicles.
• Report vehicle malfunctions to the Lifestyle Director.
• Report any vehicle incidents to the Lifestyle Director.
• Complete an incident report for any Resident accidents, injuries or incidents.
• Ensure the vehicle is cleaned out after every trip.
• Performs errands as assigned by Executive Director/General Manager and/or Lifestyle Director.
• Assists the Lifestyle Director with activities-related assignments.
• Assist in dining room as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Lifestyle Director, Executive Director/General Manager or Manager on duty.
