Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for an office building in Brooklyn, NY. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and requires an Armed Guard Card or License, a Concealed Carry Permit, and a valid law enforcement license where applicable.

You will patrol, monitor, and respond to security incidents, delivering professional customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors while upholding all licensing requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit as required.
• Hold a valid Armed Guard Card or License before employment.
• Carry a valid Law Enforcement Officer License where applicable.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening may be required prior to employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of stations and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following laws and site procedures.
• Maintain an armed presence and handle equipment per Allied Universal policies and licensing.
• Document observations and incidents; relay information to supervisors and responders as needed.
