Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Seattle, WA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a visible security presence for riders and staff.

The role requires at least 2 years in security, 21+ years old, and a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid preferred; additional certifications are welcome; background check and drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Respond to incidents and service disruptions in a calm, problem-solving manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, facilities, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe passenger activity, and report suspicious behavior and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with crowd management and coordination with transit personnel during events or disruptions.
