Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Seattle, WA. You will safeguard clients across multiple industries, focusing on patrols, customer service, and quick responses to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence and professional communication with the public.

The role offers flexible, part-time scheduling with evening and late shifts. Prior security experience and relevant certifications are preferred; a state license may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Security-related background and training are preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification and baton certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, station areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, directions, and public-facing support while maintaining professional communication.
