Job summary

The Pete Store LLC in Peabody, MA is seeking a part-time CDL driver to safely transport trucks and trailers to customers, vendors, and dealerships. You will park and move trucks in a timely fashion and shuttle units in and out of the shop as needed.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver's license, CDL, and 3–6 months of related experience or training. The role emphasizes safe operations, logs per federal standards, and accurate trip reporting.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licenses & Certifications: Driver's License; CDL.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports trucks and/or trailers to customers, vendors and dealerships.
• Park and move trucks in a timely fashion.
• Shuttles trucks in and out of shop.
• Road tests trucks on completion of service work.
• Keeps logs to the Federal standards.
• Submits completed and correct trip reports and receipts.
• Ability to use yard tractor.
• Ability to drive all trucks.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required license or certification:

• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
