Job summary

The Pete Store LLC is seeking a part-time CDL driver. The ideal candidate must hold a valid driver's license and a CDL, with a clean driving record. Responsibilities include safely transporting trucks and trailers, parking and moving fleet vehicles, and performing routine shop yard duties.

Training for technicians is provided, and the team emphasizes employee support and growth. Candidates should have 3–6 months of related experience or an equivalent education/experience mix, and strong

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Responsibilities

• Safely transports trucks and/or trailers to customers, vendors and dealerships.
• Park and move trucks in a timely fashion.
• Shuttles trucks in and out of shop.
• Road Tests trucks on completion of service work.
• Keeps trucks organized on lot, according to Manager directives.
• Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
• Keeps logs to the Federal standards.
• Submits completed and correct trip reports and receipts.
• Ability to use yard tractor.
• Ability to drive all trucks.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
