Job summary

The Assistant Track & Field Coach at Columbia College in Columbia, MO is a limited, part-time stipend position supporting the Track & Field program. Under the Head Coach, this role provides coaching and operational support during practices and meets, helping with drills, preparations, and team activities.

The role requires prior coaching experience; preferred master's degree and NAIA/NCAA coaching experience.

Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred with at least two years NAIA/NCAA coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Track & Field Coach and coaching staff during team practices as needed.
• Provide on-site support during drills, skill development activities, and other practice activities as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assist with game-day preparation and team activities before, during, and after competitions.
• Assist with basic equipment, field, and practice set-up and breakdown as needed.
• Provide support during home and away competitions assigned.
• Travel with the team to selected competitions when requested by the Head Coach.
• Support the Head Coach and Track & Field program in maintaining a positive, safe, and professional environment for student-athletes.
