Job summary

The Malvern School of Upper Gwynedd is seeking a part-time Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom. You will help implement the Early Childhood Education program and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines and communicating with parents. A high school diploma and be at least 18, plus childcare experience or related college credits, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1,250 hours of experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

What we need from you:

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
