The Malvern School of Upper Gwynedd is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, designed to support a caring, development-focused early childhood program in line with school philosophy and policies.

You will assist the lead teacher, help maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and regularly communicate with parents both in person and through technology. A high school diploma and relevant experience (or CDA) are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Age 18 or older at start of employment.
• 15 relevant college credits or CDA and 1,250 hours of experience recommended.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

What we need from you:

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
