Job summary

The Malvern School of Horsham is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, designed to foster a warm, safe, and engaging early childhood learning environment.

You will implement the school’s program, maintain a healthy classroom, and communicate regularly with parents, in person and via technology, to meet expectations and support each child’s development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.
• Early childhood education experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
