Job summary

Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT is seeking a Temporary Title IX Coordinator to advance a campus culture that is welcoming and inclusive for students, faculty and staff. Reporting to the VP for Equity and Inclusion, the coordinator will oversee Title IX compliance, coordinate investigations, training, and reporting while safeguarding privacy and impartiality through collaboration with campus partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• At least six years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge of Title IX and federal regulations for higher education.
• Experience handling sensitive reports with impartial and trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to maintain privacy, manage conflicts of interest, and communicate respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance with Title IX across all programs and activities.
• Maintain a visible campus presence and inform reporting options and resources.
• Advise senior leadership on compliance risks and policy changes.
• Oversee investigations, interviews, evidence handling, and reporting.
• Coordinate training, records, and collaboration with campus offices.
