Job summary

Hope Academy in Minneapolis is seeking a part-time Title I tutor for the 2026-2027 school year. This K-5 Math and Reading tutoring role focuses on intervention for grades 3–5, with support for K-1 as needed.

The position offers 22 hours per week (Mon-Thu 9:45am-3:15pm) and pay of $30-40/hour based on experience, plus health benefits. Join a Christ-centered program serving urban students.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS or BA in Education with licensure that includes K-5
• Valid Teaching License in Good Standing
• Training in intervention methods such as Ortin-Gillingham and/or Lindamood-Bell strongly preferred; please provide certifcates
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II small group instruction to students identified as at-risk for reading and math
• Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student learning
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive the support they need
• Attend Title staff meetings, data meetings, and professional development opportunities as required
